121Dérive.
This was my final major project at university where I had to set my own brief. It was originally a daunting process deciding however over my time at university I came to enjoy rebrands of past companies. So the brief I created was to rebrand Thomas Cook as a more personal and sustainable travel company.
After researching Thomas Cooks history and new innovative ways to travel I found out that DNA travel was a possibility. DNA travel involves taking a sample of the customers saliva which is then tested by scientists. The results then show your ancestry and the different countries your DNA is from. Based on the results you will travel to discover your roots.
To make the brand more sustainable I found that train transport was the least environmentally impactful so decided this would be perfect as this is also how Thomas Cook started as a business.
I produced a multitude of ambient media for this project to exhibit how the brand could be realised.
